Why are we doing this?

As a Vocational School Teacher of Social Work, playing archetypes could be instrumental for students -of both humanities and sciences- to foster critical thinking and a tolerant attitude towards multi-cultural issues whether these future professionals will be dealing with foreign partners and customers, clients, providers, patients, students, international viewers, readers or audiences, ideologists, philosophers, believers of any faith, atheists, etc...

What are Archetypes?

Archetypes are clitches, stereotypes, personifications or generalities. More than that, archetypes are cultural instincts whose recognition should help us succeed.

The Hero of a Thousand Faces in different countries and ages -Samson, Hercules and Superman- also illustrates the concept of archetype.

El héroe de las mil caras en diferentes países y épocas -Sansón, Hércules y Supermán por poner un ejemplo- ilustra tambien el concepto de arquetipo.
